Distribution Centre
One of the UKs largest high street fashion retailers approached their local Q-Dek partner to tender for a large mezzanine floor to house an automated garment racking system. We provided a solution that called for a 7800m² (84,000sqft) mezzanine platform complete with 10 sets of staircases. The decking on this project was opensteel mesh and the project was completed in 10 weeks on schedule complete with all building control approvals.

Sortation Platfom
The Uks largest book distributor was about to spend millions of pounds on a sortation system to automate their daily dispatch of thousands of book orders. The company handles the delivery of all books sold by companies such as Amazom and play.com The sortation system supplier needed a flexible mezzanine manufacturer to work alongside in providing a 4000m2 mezzanine level to facilitate the fast moving system, Q-Dek was chosen by demonstrating our ability to work hand in hand with other engineers and adapt to changes in the stuctuere for example cut outs to allow the conveyor to travel from ground floor to mezzanine level.

Retail Display
One of Scotland & Irelands best known furniture retailers who we had previously installed a number of mezzanine floors for displaying their range of leather sofas had another store requiring a mezzanine. In the past we had provided a dramatic staircase to try to attract customers onto the mezzanine level, this time however they asked us to provide the mezzanine complete with escalator and lift. The escalator was on a 20 week lead time, the same week the store was due to open, we had to install the mezzanine prior to this to allow the shopfitters to finish and with literally hours to spare the escalator was lifted into the cut out left in the mezzanine.
